Fall 2022

Summer is a time for students to relax and recharge from a year of essays, quizzes, and exams. However, summer break comes with several drawbacks. Statistically, students lose over two months of math and reading skills during the three-month break. This is commonly known as the “summer slide” and it can cause your child to return to school at a lower academic level than the end of the previous year. Furthermore, it can take six weeks or longer to relearn previous material during the fall. Luckily, not all is lost! Your child can easily rebuild those skills through weekly cumulative practice.

At Bright and Brewer Tutoring, we are here to bridge the gap and help your child form healthy habits through practice. Each week your child will enhance their abilities by completing math and English Language Arts assignments. Students can complete most assignments online, via an access code provided by us. Using an online platform allows us to monitor and measure their progress in real-time, giving us an entire scope of their current academic strengths and weaknesses. Through practice your child can deepen their knowledge, which in turn leads to higher test scores.

Let us work together to build strong foundational skills with your child, so they are ready to take on this great big world with sheer confidence!
